This blog is dedicated to reblogging and archiving eremika darkfic- fics that don't always fit everyone's tastes.
Fanlore defines darkfic as "fan fiction that deals with intentionally disturbing material, such as physical and emotional violence." On this blog we want to showcase the darkfic in the eremika community, with appropriate labels and warnings, so it can be consumed responsibly by adult fans.
We aim to follow similar policies as the Archive of our Own. We are not responsible for the moderation of the content in the fics on this blog, as we will mostly just reblog content; we only insist on proper tagging and warnings being applied.
Just to be clear: We do not support any of the themes of this blog IN REAL LIFE.

RULES FOR READERS
1. Understand your Squicks/Boundaries/Turn-offs.
2. DO NOT ENGAGE IN CONTENT THAT YOU KNOW DISTURBS YOU.
If you encounter something you don't like, press the back button politely, and at most inform the OP/mod for better tagging.
3. Harassment will not be tolerated, and rude comments will result in blocking.
4. Do not follow/engage if you are under 18. PLEASE.
RULES FOR WRITERS
1. Tag us in your work if you would like us to reblog your fic. If not, please use the #emdarkfics to post your work, so we do not clutter the main ship tag. This way we can cultivate our own space and enjoy our content in peace.
2. PLEASE USE WARNINGS. If you do not have proper warnings, we may not reblog your work. Warnings can be provided either at the beginning of the fic or in the tags.
3. Dark Fic can have a broad meaning that varies based on you as a writer/reader. If you consider your fic to be dark, feel free to tag for promotion.
4. That's pretty much it!! :)

A week to celebrate specific kinks/concepts for Eremika. This event is mainly for fanfics, for now. We will also accept aesthetics, mood boards, edits, headcanons etc.
Fanart as a medium has not been considered for entry as of this moment, if you are interested in submitting fanart with darker concepts, please dm/ask and we can talk about it!! :)
